Dear Sir/Madam, I hope your day is going well.
Jenny Sinclair has performed and entertained for our residents here at Rowan Weald Care Home on many occasions.

Our residents really enjoy seeing her, they clap , sing, some who are able will dance to her tunes.

Manor Lodge - testimonial 16/9/25
As the activity coordinator, I see every day how much music means to our residents, and Jenny brings that magic to life. Her visits are always special, the room lights up the moment she starts singing. It isn’t just her beautiful voice, it’s the warmth and kindness she shares with everyone. I’ve watched residents who rarely respond suddenly smile, tap their feet, or even sing along. Jenny gives more than a performance; she creates moments of joy and connection that stay with people long after she’s gone. We are truly lucky to have her with us.

Jenny done our entertainment at our Annual BBQ on Saturday 12th August 2017. She was amazing and involved everyone, including residents, staff and relatives. Jenny interacted the whole afternoon and made it a pleasant and fun time. We think the best part was her getting all the staff to line up with her in the marquee and perform a dance to ‘Hot, Hot, Hot’, and someone videoed it! Was such a laugh and our residents are still talking about it today.
I would highly recommend Jenny to any care home that is looking for a fabulous entertainer who will give your residents an enjoyable time.
We are hoping to book Jenny in for our residents Christmas party this year. Who knows what she will get the staff to do then, I wonder.
Thank you again Jenny for a fantastic day.

Jenny was fantastic. Fully engaged with all the residents and even got them singing into the mic. First time i have seen so many residents, families and staff dancing to YMCA. The spelling may not be correct but great fun was had. Jenny sang a birthday song to June and a lovely version of Johnny Angel to our own resident John who blushed. Jenny changed into a stunning dress and had us all wearing belts with bells on. 11 out 10. superb.

Hi Jenny,
I’d just like to say thank you ever so much for joining us at Coombe Hill for our garden party. You made all of our residents and staff feel included in your performance and you lifted all the residents moods. They were all commenting when you left on how beautiful you and your performance was. It was magical how you connected with all of them and we cannot thank you enough. Can’t wait to see you again!
Many thanks,
Becca

Jenny Sinclair sang for us at Tovil Green Court for a 90th Surprise Birthday Party. Everyone was swinging in the room! Days later people are still talking about it, what a “Swell Party this was…” - and how Jenny managed to create such a wonderful atmosphere in the room by simply using her talent and personality. She sings various musical styles (She was rapping for a teenage member of the audience at some point..) and does involve the entire audience in a brilliant way.

Jenny came to Northampton place on Monday 25th January to entertain the residents.
Her voice was amazing, as a tribute act she was spot on and her selection of songs was excellent giving the residents the chance to reminisce and remember tunes from their past and even had them dancing to them.
She interacted so well that we think she is a very special “People Person”.
We can’t wait for the time when she can return to entertain us once again. Jenny is certainly one of the best entertainers we have ever had.
Well done and thank you

Jenny sang at the Monday Gateway Club tonight run by Lewisham Mencap for adults with a learning disability. The evening was an outstanding success with a brilliant performance from Jenny. Our people loved her and were non stop dancing and singing all night. The rapport Jenny had with our people was so plain to see and I cannot thank her enough for bringing so much enjoyment to our people. We will be booking her to come and sing for us again as soon as possible.

Hi Jenny
A big thank you for such a truly wonderful evening. Mum thoroughly enjoyed her party and everyone has been saying what a brilliant performance you gave. All who attended have been extremely complementary about the songs you sang, your lovely voice and your natural empathy with the older guests. One very telling comment was how you spoke to those senior residents, never speaking down to them or being condescending but showing real interest and ensuring they were all involved and enjoying the afternoon.
It was a joy to see everyone singing and dancing; to see each person as an individual having fun. Everyone was still chatting about the party today. It has given them all a big boost and I know they are hoping that you will be able to come again and entertain them. Ros, the scheme manager, has been asked already!! I have my fingers crossed that she will be able to arrange this.
The younger guests also enjoyed the party and you managed to ensure that your songs appealed to all ages. Certainly YMCA was a real hit and a marvellous finale to such a special day.
I shall now think of We Have Only Just Begun with fond memories of the dance Pete and I had! Kept for posterity by the very kind recording taken by our daughter!
Yesterday we showed mum the photos and video clips of her party and it is thanks to your hard work and excellent performance that she can be reminded of this very special day.
Thank you for being so understanding when you arrived and had to wait to set up. I realise that this must have made it a later finish for you than originally planned and I appreciate how flexible you were with this timing issue.
It was lovely to meet you Jenny. We cannot recommend you highly enough and I hope your future is full of the happiness you richly deserve.
Do hope you will use the 'small gift' to treat yourself.
Once again my sincere thanks and appreciation of an unforgettable evening.
I do hope we will meet again and that we will be able to enjoy another glorious performance in the future.
With very best wishes
Jill xx

“Having seen Jenny perform for clients with profound dementia I was touched by her special quality. Whilst some entertainers have a tendency to perform at our clients, Jenny is clearly engaging with them. She has a warm and interactive style, approaching individual clients and singing to them. She is not afraid of physical contact and holding strong eye contact with clients that I’m aware others would feel unsure of and shy away from.
She is able to keep up an energetic performance despite the fact that our clients are largely quite limited in the feedback that they can give to her performance. |
I first saw Jenny perform in a day centre for people with dementia and was very moved by her understanding and treatment of our clients. Having now moved jobs to a continuing care unit where the clients have very severe dementia, Jenny was the obvious choice to invite to one of our clients hundredth birthday celebration. I have heard nothing but positive feedback about how the day went; all were impressed by Jenny’s professionalism and warm and engaging manner. I would thoroughly recommend her to any care home setting”. - Deborah Murphy Senior Occupational Therapist. The Lodge, 1-2 Crozier Terrace, London E9
Woodville Close is a sheltered housing complex in Lee London. Jenny Sinclair has been entertaining the residents here on a regular basis for a number of years now and is a firm favourite with them. Jenny has a great voice in her own right but also sounds very, very much like Karen Carpenter and performs her songs with great feeling.
Jenny is a very caring person which is very apparent during her shows when she makes every member of the audience feel very special.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jenny.

I am a activity coordinator at a care home for adults with learning disabilities, they enjoy the interaction Jenny provides with them, when she comes to our home to entertain them, they always ask for her to start our garden party off, that's how popular she is with them, she always has a bubbly personality, and gets our staff to join in, I would recommend her for any events as she brings a professional performance each time she has come to us.
To whom it may concern:
Jenny has been visiting Kingsmead Lodge for at least 6 months; our service users always have a good time with plenty of singing and dancing. Jenny has a lovely singing voice and sounds very much like Karen Carpenter. AS part of her act she incorporates songs both old and up to date.
When she visits she likes to know who she is singing to, so we put name badges on the service users, this enables her to make a more personal performance when she sings to each service user.
Jenny is a very friendly and family orientated person, with a good sense of humour and I would have no hesitation in recommending her perform at your establishment.
If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours sincerely,
Lorraine Pulling

Singer Jenny Sinclair treated residents at Knowle Park home in Cranleigh to a superb show recently that will go down as one of the most memorable events at the home.
Jenny brought with her a wonderful selection of songs, including famous hits by The Carpenters such as “Top of the World” and “On the Bayou.” She also performed a number of Country & Western songs and some songs from the traditional English repertoire that staff and residents could sing along to.
Everyone joined in and had great fun, particularly during the lively ‘YMCA’ by the Village People. The performance turned out to be one of the most popular and memorable events Knowle Park has hosted.
Knowle Park is a magnificent early 19th century Manor House on the outskirts of Cranleigh, Surrey, that has been lovingly restored to provide residential and nursing care of distinction for up to 43 elderly ladies and gentlemen. - Report from the website of Knowle Park Home in Cranleigh

Jenny Sinclair was introduced to Beech Lodge in the summer of 2008. After an interesting telephone conversation a relationship was formed and she was invited to come into Beech Lodge to perform an entertainment evening in July.
Before an event Jenny supplies the care-home with promotional posters, CD's and her business cards. Jenny invites the activity coordinatar to access her web site to sample the kind of music that she is proposing to perform at her performance.
Jenny arrives at the venue in plenty of time to set up her equipment and has always offered the residents an individual friendly greeting. Jenny takes the time to find out about her audience and focus's her performance on them. She interacts with the residents within her professional boundaries; using her own experience as a guide to how much response she can expect to receive back.
Jenny is prepared to update her musical knowledge to allow for variety in her act. Beech Lodge recommends Jenny Sinclair as an asset to any entertainment schedule." - Kathleen Woodholt Head of Entertainments for Beech Lodge Care Home, Guildford Road, Horsham. (Centre for the young disabled)
